B. Tech Food Technology programme is a Four-Year undergraduate degree programme after 10+2 level of education with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Maths.
B. Tech Food Technology course curriculum fully industry-oriented and designed by industry and Academic experts. The 7th-semester fully devoted to the Major research project and the Experimental learning program and 8th semester to industrial training. Food technology is a branch of food science which deals with the Selection, Processing, preservation, packaging, distribution, quality control and research and development of the food products. Food Technology is a broad discipline that contains within it many specializations such as in Food Chemistry, Food Microbiology, Food Processing, Food Engineering and Food Business Management. Food processing and Food Engineering contains many of the same elements as chemical and mechanical engineering.
After completing the degree, candidates can easily get jobs. Thus, Food Technology is rapidly emerging as a vital field of study that focuses on creating innovative advancements for Food processing, Food Engineering, Food Product Manufacturing and Food related Supply chain management.
In addition, with value-added courses such as the English Language, Soft skill development, Foreign Language i.e. (German. French. Russian), Research Methodology, Professional Ethics.
