Dean’s Message

Under the great vision of Hon. Dr. D. Y. Patil (Founder President), Dr. Sanjay D. Patil (President), Shri. Satej D. Patil (Vice-President) and Mr. Ruturaj S. Patil (Trustee), D. Y. Patil Education Society, Kolhapur, we are encompassing large number of education careers through different Agricultural courses and degree programme.
In India, the importance of Agriculture engross economy is well known to everyone. Approximately seventy percent Indian population is engaged in agriculture and eventually there is need to improve the educational facilities in agriculture. In view of this the D. Y. Patil Educational Society has established the School of Agriculture in the year 2021 under D. Y. Patil Agricultural and Technical University for imparting higher education in agriculture in order to provide opportunities and jobs to rural youth.
School of Agriculture Sciences is located at Talsande village of Hatkanangle Tehsil of Kolhapur district in Maharashtra, India which is 30km away from Hatkanangle and 27 km away from district Kolhapur. Talsande is predominant area in cultivation of Sugarcane, Wheat, Banana, Soybean, many flowers and Vegetables.
School of Agriculture Sciences, Talsande has established to adhere the quality standards of education. The students of the School of Agriculture Science can be found in almost all fields of service i.e. teaching, research, extension, entrepreneurship, management, government sector and marketing. Our goal is to educate the students to transform them as professionally competent and quality conscious graduates by providing conductive environment for teaching, learning, overall personality development and culminating the institute of international excellence.
