Dr. Sarika Santu Wandre has more than 6 years of experience in academics, research and agricultural extension work. Out of these 2 years and 4 months’ research experience at Department of NRM, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, Gujarat, India and Rashtriy Krishi Vikas Yojana, Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krushi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli, Maharashtra, India. Having 3 years and 6 month’s teaching experience at UG level Agriculture College at Mula Education Society’s College of Agriculture, Sonai, Tal. Newasa, Dist. Ahmednagar and Vishweshwar Vidya Vikas Sanstha’s Dadasaheb Patil College of Agriculture, Dahegaon, Tal. Vaijapur, Dist. Aurangabad, India as an Assistant Professor and Head of Section. Completed the guest lecturer assignment for one month at Mula Education Society’s College of Agriculture, Sonai, Tal. Newasa, Dist. Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. Secured the Ph. D in Agricultural Engineering specialization in Soil and Water Engineering from Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh, Gujarat, India during November 2016. Received INSPIRE Fellowship from Department of Science and Technology for Ph.D tenure. She had successfully cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) – 2017 (I) and 2015 which was conducted by Agriculture Scientist Recruitment Board, New Delhi. Also cleared mains of Agriculture Research Scientist (ARS) examination – 2017 and appeared for Final Interview. She was admitted by Indian Counsil of Agriculture, New Delhi for M.Tech. programme and also acquired 109th rank in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). She also qualified ICAR, PGS (SRF) examination for Ph.D admission, 2013 and ICAR, PGS (JRF) examination for M.Tech admission, 2010. Successfully presented more than 08 research papers at various National and International Conferences. Authored 2 books and 4 book chapters and in the past few years and published more than 11 full length research papers & a review paper in International and Nationally reputed (referred) journals in India with more than 25 Marathi and English technical articles in magazines and newspapers. She has life time memberships of 04 professional societies. She had received many prestigious awards like, MS Swaminathan Best Young Scientist Award-2020 by Bose Science Society, Tamilnadu; Krushi Guarav Award-2019 by International Friendship Society, New Delhi; Ideal Agriculture Scientist-2018 by Saptahik KrushiSevak, Raver and Best Author Award- 2016 for Poorva-Krushidoot Magazine. She has delivered 03 radio talks on demandable subject of respective season which are helpful for Farmers Community and successfully completed more than 5 trainings/workshops related to her subject.
